Bazen i beach bar Grand Hotel Adriatic

The concept of the hospitality facility is defined by an outdoor pool, terraced exterior spaces on multiple levels including semi-basement and ground floor terraces, a walkable roof with a rooftop terrace, and enclosed auxiliary spaces in the basement.

The terraces surrounding the pool provide accompanying amenities such as a beach bar and sunbathing areas, while their form connects the outdoor pool with landscaped green areas.

A spiral staircase links the ground floor terrace with the rooftop terrace of the beach bar, equipped with a DJ booth, showers, sun loungers and umbrellas. Both the rooftop and ground-level terraces are enclosed with glass railings and steel-profile railings, which partially transition into a green pergola.

The architectural design aims to achieve a visual coherence between the largely open hospitality structure and the surrounding landscape. The terraced ground floor and semi-basement levels integrate the pool area with the landscaped greenery.

The building borders the coastal promenade “Lungomare”, while the site offers open views of the entire Kvarner Bay.
