Beach Lido
The project area is located along the promenade and Angiolina Park. Along the promenade and park are hotel facilities such as Hotel Bevanda, Hotel Kvarner, Villa Amalia and the Villa Angiolina Museum.
The project brief, the concession agreement and the valid spatial planning documentation define the arrangement of the beach and bathing area through the design of paved surfaces and landscaping, as well as the placement of permitted amenities and elements of urban equipment.
The ground floor accommodates pavilion units with facilities including sanitary areas, showers and changing rooms for users and staff, lockers, a café bar, a restaurant, and wellness and spa amenities.
The roof of the building is accessible and landscaped, functioning as an elevated promenade above the beach facilities. The line of the rooftop promenade follows the direction of the reclaimed coastline, reflecting the former intention to build the Therapeutic Palace.
Pedestrian access to the building is provided from the northwest side of the beach zone from the direction of Angiolina Park, and from the southeast side next to Hotel Bevanda.
Existing valuable greenery has been preserved and supplemented with new planting, including palm trees and native aromatic vegetation.
