Vila Aura

Villa Aura is located in Medveja (Kali), on a site overlooking the Kvarner Bay and in close proximity to hospitality and recreational facilities near the well-known Medveja beach.

The architectural design aims to achieve coherence between the built volumes and the surrounding landscape. Variations in floor levels within each storey further emphasize the connection between the interior living space and the natural terraced terrain. Different plaster textures highlight the volumes and create a play of light and shadow across the shifted forms. The roofs are flat and non-accessible, partly designed as extensive green roofs and partly covered with stone of varying textures.

The landscape design incorporates natural materials characteristic of the Mediterranean environment. The site is organized into terraces formed by gabion walls, intended for planting flowers and cultivating olive trees.
